Emmy (5 años) siempre ha soñado con volar alrededor de las estrellas con su mejor amigo GooRoo, el oso gigante. Una noche estrellada, GooRoo y Emmy conocen a una pequeña estrella, que los ayuda a entender la naturaleza de su amistad y cómo nuestros sueños están más cerca de los que pensábamos.

Emmy (5 years old) has always dreamed of flying through the stars with his best friend GooRoo, the giant bear. A starry night, GooRoo and Emmy make acquaintance with a lovely tiny star that will help them learn about the nature of their friendship and how our dreams are sometimes closer than we thought.

MERCEDES MARRO (Bilbao, ESPAÑA, 1964): Directora de animación con más de 25 años de experiencia en animación 2D y 3D. Uno de sus proyectos más destacados, Ask Lara, fue nominado en los EMMY Kids Awards y los BAA (British Animation Awards), ambos en 2012, y en los INPUT (International Public Television) 2013. Su cortometraje, Camino de agua para un pez, fue preseleccionado en los Goya 2017, con presencia en más de 100 festivales internacionales. Sobresale en su filmografía multipremiados títulos como Break a Leg, Sincopats, Collonades, Howdy Gaudi, Blanche, Picnic with Pie, Pikkuli, entre otros, además de haber trabajado en la serie de televisión para preescolares Emmy & GooRoo, y en el cortometraje Star Bright, en ambos como co-directora, en conjunto con el estudio Left Pocket Shanghai (China).

Her short film, Water Path for a fish, was preselected for the GOYA Awards 2017 and in over 100 international film festivals. Standing out on her filmography multi-award-winning titles such as Break a Leg, Sincopats, Collonades, Howdy Gaudi, Blanche, Picnic with Pie, Pikkuli, among others, she also has worked in the preschool television series Emmy & GooRoo, and in the Star Bright short film, as a co-director, both projects in conjunction with the Shanghai-based studio Left Pocket.
