Sinopsis / Synopsis

En el orfanato St. Marcelline viven varios niños con diferentes enfermedades y deficiencias. Son sus amigos y compañeros quienes se hacen cargo de su cuidado. Los asean, les dan de comer y juegan con ellos. ¿Qué responsabilidades somos capaces de asumir a los nueve años?

Some kids who live in St. Marcellin orphange have different diseases. Their friends and mates are taking care of them. They wash them up, give them food and play with them. ¿What kind of responsability are we ready to assume with nine years old?

JOSÉ IGNACIO DE JUAN (Valencia, 18/06/1976) Master en fotografía EFTI y estudiante de Sociología. Trabaja como fotógrafo documentalista cubriendo temas sociales en diferentes países como Senegal, Marruecos, Zimbabwe, Nepal y en Europa. El reportaje “Fooling destiny” ha sido seleccionado para el premio Pix Palace Visa pour l’image 2010 y el Unicef Photo of the Year 2010. Fotógrafo oficial de la compañía El Pont Flotant y colaborador de Psicólogos sin fronteras y la Sociedad Valenciana Protectora de Animales y Plantas, entre otras. El cortometraje documental “Tendai’s Gang” es el primer trabajo realizado en formato vídeo.

JOSÉ IGNACIO DE JUAN (Valencia, Spain, 06/18/1976) Photography Master EFTI and student Sociology Grade. He works as a documentary photographer of social features over different countries as Senegal, Morocco, Zimbabwe, Nepal and Europe. The feature “Fooling destiny” has been selected on several prices as Pix Palace Visa Pour l’image 2010 and Unicef Photo of the Year 2010. Oficial photographer of the theater company El Pont Flotant and contributor of Psicologos sin fronteras and Sociedad Valenciana Protectora de Animales y Plantas. The short documentary “Tendai’s Gang” is the first work on video format.
