Las cosas más extraordinarias, para bien ó para mal, ocurren en los días menos esperados.
The strangest things happen, for better or worse, just when you least expect them.

JESÚS URDA (Villarrubia de los Ojos, 1976) He lived in Madrid until he completed his degree in English Literature and Linguistics. In the following 6 years he lived in London, Berlin, Edinburgh, Lille… In 2002 he moved to Galway, Ireland, where he worked as Spanish tutor in College. In Galway he completed an M.A in Scriptwriting in the Huston School of Cinema, run by former Irish Film Board director and Channel Four producer Rod Stoneman. He won a scholarship to collaborate as still photographer for the Slovenian Radio, Television and Film School. That was his first time in a real film industry environment. A year later he moved to Dublin, where he is living at the moment. In a Film Production course in Dublin he met Seamus Gallagher and Fabrizio Pascualetto. They worked together in one of the school’s final protect short films; Gone (2005) co-directed by Jesús, produced by Seamus and photographed by Fabrizio. This collaboration led Seamus to produce The Last Chapter, Jesús’ first short film as a writer-director, with Fabrizio as main photographer. Jesús also composed the original score . White Light (2007) was his first collaboration with producer Conor Murphy, founder of Armchair Productions. With Conor Murphy as the Irish side of the production he went on to produce and direct Yo y el Diablo/Me and the Devil (2008), in co-production with Spanish production companies and funding Boards. It is his first Spanish language production.
