SILVIA ABASCAL (Madrid, 20/03/1979) Comenzó a trabajar en la interpretación a los catorce años. Ha obtenido tres nominaciones a los Premios Goya por La Dama Boba (2006, Mejor Actriz), El lobo (2005 Mejor Actriz de Reparto) y La fuente amarilla (1999 Actriz Revelación). Silvia Abascal se adentra ahora en la dirección con su primer cortometraje y guión cinematográfico No Digas Nada.

SILVIA ABASCAL (Madrid, SPAIN, 03/20/1979) Started her career as actress at the age of fourteen. She has three Goya Award nominations for La Dama Boba (2006, Leading role) El lobo (2005, Supporting Role) La fuente amarilla (1999, Revelation Actress). Say Nothing is her first work as director and scriptwriter. Mrs Silvia suffered an Ictus in 2011 that stopped her career for almost three years. In 2013 she wrote and published the book Todo un viaje (It´s all a journey), about her recovery. Now she has resumed her actress career, and has started to write the script of her first feature film as a director, becoming one of the most inspiring and recognized figures in Spanish culture.
