ALEX BURUNOVA (BIELORRUSIA, 06/02/1982) Creció en un pequeño pueblo de la URRS cuando se está se desmoronaba. A los 16 años se mudó sola a EEUU persiguiendo sus sueños de ser cineasta. Durante cuatro años estuvo cámara en mano en la carretera con una organización de derechos humanos donde desarrollo su pasión por contar historia y su voz como directora de cine. En 2009 se graduó con honores en USC School of Cinematic Arts. Ha trabajado en Lucasfilms, en películas como True Grit de los hermanos Cohen y en Misión Imposible, además de asistente de directores de renombre y como directora de publicidad freelance.

ALEX BURUNOVA (BELARUS, 02/06/1982) Growing up in a small town while the USSR was falling apart, Alex was dreaming of becoming a filmmaker and traveling the world. All alone at 16 she moved to the US to pursue her dreams. Four years later, handy-cam in hand, she was on the road with a human rights organization, where Alex began to develop her passion for storytelling and her voice as a female filmmaker. In 2009 she graduated with honors from one of America’s top film schools, USC School of Cinematic Arts. She has worked at Lucasfilm, on films like Cohen Brothers' TRUE GRIT and the blockbuster MISSION IMPOSSIBLE, while splitting her time assisting award-winning directors and freelancing as a commercial director.
