“Gaudí, el arquitecto de Dios” es una historia de fe, de superación, de cinco laicos que decidieron crear una asociación para demostrar que Gaudí es digno de uno de los títulos más preciados de la Iglesia: la beatificación.

“Gaudí, The Architect of God” is a story of faith, of overcoming obstacles, of five secularists that created an association to prove that Gaudí is worthy of one of the most precious titles of the Church: beatification.

 MARC PETITPIERRE Y JOSEP PADRÓ (BARCELONA, ESPAÑA, 1979 y 1982) son dos directores de cine establecidos en Barcelona. Han colaborado juntos en la dirección de diferentes proyectos audiovisuales, entre los que destacan la serie “Los últimos artesanos” o el documental “El complejo de Stradivarius”, dos obras introspectivas que se adentran en el proceso de creación de varios artistas. Con el documental “Gaudí, el arquitecto de Dios” vuelven a colaborar en un proyecto íntimo y reflexivo relacionado con el arte, pero esta vez ligado a la figura de Antoni Gaudí y a un hecho actual, el proceso de beatificación del arquitecto.

 MARC PETITPIERRE AND JOSEP PADRÓ (BARCELONA, SPAIN, 1979 y 1982) are two film directors established in Barcelona. They have worked together directing different audiovisual projects, among which the serie «Los últimos artesanos» (The last Artisans) or the documentary «El complejo de Stradivarius» (The Stradivarius Complex), can be highlighted; two introspective pieces that explore the creation of several artists. They work together once more upon the documentary “Gaudí, God’s Architect”, an intimate and thought-provoking project related to art, but this time linked to the figure of Antoni Gaudí and the current topic of the architect’s beatification.
