Sinopsis / Synopsis

Vicious Cycle muestra un grupo de pequeños robots autónomos que realizan una serie de funciones repetitivas, impulsadas por dispositivos mecánicos. Pero cuando los mecanismos empiezan a exigir sin piedad que cada vez sean más y más rápidos, las cosas empeoran para los indefensos robots.

Vicious Cycle features a group of little autonomous robots performing a range of repetitive functions, driven by mechanical devices. But as the mechanisms mercilessly start getting faster and faster, things take a turn for the worse for the helpless robots.

MICHAEL MARCZEWSKI (REINO UNIDO, 1987) es un director de cortometrajes y animador británico. Actualmente vive y trabaja en Londres. Las películas de Marczewski tienen una apariencia encantadora, aunque por lo general subyace un tono siniestro que juega con el humor oscuro. La comedia suele ser un fuerte impulso en su trabajo. También encuentra placer en dar al público una falsa sensación de seguridad, con el aspecto inicialmente agradable y dulce de sus obras.

MICHAEL MARCZEWSKI (UNITED KINGDOM, 1987) is a British short film director and animator. He currently lives and works in London. Marczewski’s films feature charming looking visuals, however they usually have a sinister undertone. This contrast leads to a lot of dark humour in his work. Comedy is a strong part of what drives his animations. He also has pleasure in lulling the audience into a false sense of security, with the initially pleasant and sweet look of his films.
