Sinopsis / Synopsis

Frida lleva a su amigo a un restaurante de cmida rápida egipcia en Nueva York. En el restaurante ella es testigo de como un chico acosa a una chica latina. Frida se enfrenta al chico y ayuda a la chica pero nadie está conforme con lo que dice. La chica latina escapa cuando se oye a la policía llegar. Frida alcanza a la chica en el exterior y se sorprende al ver que no todo el mundo puede permitirse el lujo de protegerse.

Frida is taking her friend to an Egyptian fast food place in NYC. At the restaurant, she witnesses a white guy sexually harassing a latin girl. She confronts the guy and tries to help the girl, but no one is confirming what she says. The latin girl escapes the scene when she hears that the police are coming. Farida catches up to the girl outside only to be shocked by the fact that not everyone has the luxury of protecting themselves.

Waleed Bedour es un cineasta egipcio-americano. Antes de mudar a Estados Unidos, Waleed contruye su carrera dirigiendo videoclips,comerciales y cortometrajes galardonados en distintos festivales de alrededor del mundo. Después de finalizar su MFA en dirección cinematográfica en Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema,Waleed empezó a trabajar como instructor de cine en la Acdemia de Cine de Nueva York. Waleed le apasiona compartir experiencias de Arab Diaspora y está trabajando en su ópera prima "GreenParadise"

Waleed Bedour is a New York based Egyptian-American filmmaker. Before moving to the US, Waleed launched his career directing award-winning music videos, commercials and short films that have screened at festivals around the world.
After completing his MFA in film directing from Brooklyn College’s Feirstein Graduate School of Cinema, Waleed started working as a filmmaking instructor at New York Film Academy.
Waleed is passionate to share the authentic experiences of the Arab Diaspora, and currently working on his feature film debut, ”GREEN PARADISE”.
